Your Corps Officers

Majors Ted and Pamala Morris come to the Clearwater Corps as their 11th appointment during their 32 years of joint service.

Major Ted received his calling to officership in June of 1975, while living in Tokyo with his parents.  He met his future partner in ministry in 1981 when they were assigned to sit next to each other at the Budget Rent-a-Car International Call Center in Dallas.  Not long afterwards, she was introduced to The Salvation Army.  When stepping into the Dallas Temple Corps for the first time, she said to herself, “I have found my home!”

She heard the call to officership in 1982.  They were Commissioned in the Guardians of the Truth and Proclaimers of the Gospel Sessions, respectively and married two days after her Commissioning.

The Morris’ have had the privilege of serving on three Divisional Headquarters’ staffs, at the Evangeline Booth College for 11 years (in three separate appointments) and in both Corps and Area Commands.

They have three grown children, Jordan, Luke and Anna, two daughters-in-law and two grandchildren. Paige and Leon.
